How do u wire up the truck release on alarms.Does it involve an relay.

Last time i checked they were called trunks, and yes some applications need a relay. Please provide the make, model, and year of the vehicle so we can be of further assistance.
Basically, you use the alarms aux channel to drive a relay to pop the trunk, assuming that your vehicle is equipped with a power trunk release. If the car only has a lever, you would need to use a trunk pop solenoid.

Trunk Pin Switch DARK GREEN (-) AT TAILGATE AJAR SWITCH (WAGON ONLY)
im not sure what the output is for that alarm but the wire is a neg. wire
