I need some advice on a 530T installed in my VW Corrado. Both windows are currently stuck in the down position. I can hear the 530T make clicking noises when I press the the window switch to lower the windows, but nothing when I try to raise them. Is the window control module (Sept. '93 stamped on the back of its case) dead? Or is something wrong with my wiring? The problem started yesterday (8/28) with the drivers side window rolling down and staying down. Next up was the passenger sides turn. The whole system was installed by the previous owner and as such I have no remotes for it. There is an Alpine alarm control box in the boot of the car, but I don't think it could possibly still be wired in...or maybe it still is. Also, what other plug-in window control modules would you all recommend in place of the 530T?

Locate the 530T module and cut the Orange wire.
Try to roll up.
If is not working try to take out the fuse from the 530T and put it back in.
Still not working. Try connect the wires on one window as they have been before (without the module between) and roll up the window. It works ? if it works , let the window up and set the module on again.
Try to play and see where the problem is.
