Before I start splicing into any wires, I want to make sure that I have the wiring figured out. I am installing a Remote Start/Keyless Entry into my 1994 Ford Explorer. I have an Audiovox AA-RS10C Remote Start/Keyless Entry, with a Crimestopper CS-6600DLM Door Lock Module.
I have been trying to upload a diagram of the remote start/keyless entry. It is an Audiovox AA-RS10CS.It seems that I cannot, so I will give the wiring diagram, and hope that someone out there will help me.
Audiovox '94 ExplorerRED / White Trace Wire +12 volt Battery 1 Source
Yellow - Ign. Switch Harness
Red wire +12 volt Battery 2 source?
Yellow wire - Starter Output
RED / Lt. Blue - Ign. Switch Harnesss
Blue wire - Ignition 1 Output
RED / Lt. Green - Ign. Switch Harness
Green wire - Ignition 2 Output
BLACK/ Green - Ign. Switch Harness
Violet wire - Accessory Output
Grey / YELLOW(+) - Ign. Switch Harness
Grey wire - Neg. Inhibit Input 1 Hood pin switch
Grey/Black - Tracer wire Neg. Inhibit Input 2
Lt. Green - Break light switch ?(if it switches ground to the break light curcuit)
BROWN / Black wire - Pos. Inhibit Input 2 Break Light switch ?(if it switches +12 volts to the break light curcuit)
White wires(2) - Parking light flasher
Brown - Light switch or harness ( if lights are a +12 volt switched 1 wire to a fused +12 volt battery source, the second to the parking light wire. If chassis ground, 1 to a chassis ground source, the other to the parking ligh wire)???????????????
Dark Green wire - Tech sensor Input
Tan / YELLOW - Coil (Can this also be found in the Ignition switch harness?)
Now comes the fun part: wiring the keyless entry!!!
2 Pin Door Lock/Unlock Harness:Output wires provide either a pulsed ground or pulsed +12 volts to control the lock/unlock curcuits.
Now what type of curcuit do I have?
Audiovox Explorer3 Wire Ground Switched:Red wire - provides a ground pulse during arming - pulsed ground lock output?
Green wire - provides a ground pulse during arming - pulsed ground unlock output ?
3 Wire Positive Switched:Red wire - provides a +12 volt pulse during arming - pulsed +12 volt unlock output ?
Green wire - provides a +12 volt pulse during arming - pulsed +12 volt lock output ?
Now if I have a 4 Wire Polarity Reversal, or a 5 Wire Alternating 12 Volt Curcuit, I have Crimestopper's CS-6600DLM - Door Lock Module. Which gives me the following diagrams: Negative Trigger Doorlock Wiring (Is this the same as the 3 Wire Ground Switched?)White wire - Not used
Green wire - lock wire in vehicle (Pink / YELLOW in Explorer)
Blue wire - unlock wire in vehicle (Pink/Lt. Green in Explorer)
Brown wire - not used
Violet - Ground
Then there are three wires comming out of another harness that says to system 3 pin door lock plug. I am hooking this up to an Audiovox, so where would I connect these wires to on the Audiovox?
Positive Trigger Doorlock Wiring ( Same as 3 Wire Positive Switched?)White wire - Not used
Green wire - lock wire in vehicle (Pink / YELLOW in Explorer)
Blue wire - unlock wire in vehicle (Pink/Lt. Green in Explorer)
Brown wire - not used
Violet - +12 volt fused
Same question as before: Then there are three wires comming out of another harness that says to system 3 pin door lock plug. I am hooking this up to an Audiovox, so where would I connect these wires to on the Audiovox?
Reverse Polarity Doorlock WiringWhite wire - vehicle lock wire (Pink / YELLOW in Explorer)
Green wire - lock wire in vehicle (Pink / YELLOW in Explorer) Cut the vehicle wire between the white and green wire
Blue wire - unlock wire in vehicle (Pink/Lt. Green in Explorer)
Brown wire - unlock wire in vehicle (Pink/Lt. Green in Explorer) Cut the vehicle wire between the blue and brown wire
Violet - +12 volt fused
This diagram does not show the other three wires coming out of the module, so how would this be connected to the main module of the Audiovox?
Any help would be greatly appericated!!!!!!
Thank you,
Ted
Just gettin' Started :>)
