I am installing a cs-2013fm alarm/remote start with the DEI 455t add on module for my locks/factory alarm. Everything works except for a couple troubles with the remote start and unlocking. i have tried a couple setups

1)wire 455t 'disarm for remote start' wire to alarm 'factory disarm output'. This sends a ground pulse - so remote start works fine, but when I unlock, it unlocks and locks right away.

2)wire 455t 'disarm for remote start' wire to alarm 'negative ground when running'. this gives me good lock and unlocking, but I have to hit the unlock before I remote start, or the alarm will go off.

3)hook up alarm 'negative ground when running' to 455t and hook up alarm 'factory disarm' to jeep 'disarm' wire. this gives same effect as number 2

sorry for long post, thanks for any help

Hey Joltm, I have a 1998 Grand Cherokee as well. I am going to be installing a alarm and add-on remote start using the 455t in the next week or so. E-Mail me your address and I will keep in touch with you if I find any thing simular and a fix for it.
Thanks!
