I have an 1996 Dodge stratus that has a remote start and lock/unlock installed...It work great, but if you use the key to lock/unlock the car the next time you remote start or remote unlock the doors is sets off the factory alarm system.... What wire did I miss for disarming the factory alarm? Color and location, please
Thanks for your time,
Joe
PS. the alarm is a Avital 4200 series

well....if you installed an aftermarket alarm/keyless then you dont need to use the key to get in. if you use the key to get in, you will not only set off ur fact alarm (its not suppose to) and also ur aftermarket alarm.
so, with the avital installed, you need to disarm the factory if you havent already.

*6 Lt. GREEN/ orange from driver's door or dk. GREEN/ orange from passenger or catch either at BCM located behind right side dash. Use a positive (+) trigger thru a 940 ohm resistor to arm, and a positive (+) trigger thru a 470 ohm resistor to disarm. Must use relays.
