ok well i have a black widow alarm in my car, i have the remote that notifies you of the car alarm going off if its tampered with. anyways. sometimes when i deactivate my alarm and get into my car, and start it, it chirps 3 times or sometimes 2. its weird cause when i leave the car for a few hrs to go inside my house, i arm it, no cars would drive by or nothing that'll cause the alarm to chirp 3 times for a warning, then i go out and start my car and like i said it'll chirp 3 times.    but this only happens occasionally.

3 chirps means the car is warning the intruder, meaning he bumped the car just enough to warn it, but not have the actual alarm go off!

Is the system within 1 year old ? If so, try to get some warranty for a new CPU & remote. This will probably solve the problem.

What type of vehicle is in?  The third chirp on a BW indicates an open zone.  You could have bad door trigger or an improperly adjusted pin switch.

If your alarm chirps after it's deactivated and the car is running,  you have a bad connection with your ignition wire.  If you used T-taps, they may have come loose.  T-taps should be banned.

I agree with raydawg357 check if your door pin switches are working right and did you use t-taps or how did you connect your wires of the alarm. did you solder them?
