First off, I'd like to say hello!  My name is Toby.

What I'm looking for is a 2-way car alarm with remote start that has the following main features:

-window roll up/down

-Backlight illumination for nighttime viewing of the LCD screen

-at least 2 remotes

-Timed car starting (car turns on at a certain time each day)

I'm having some trouble coming up with a system that has all of this and is of good quality.  I've looked at CompuStar, Clifford, and Viper but I don't see anything that says whether they have the backlight or not.

I was also wondering if Asianwolf.com is a good place to buy from and are the brands very good?  (brands like Lynx, Hornet, Valet, etc.)  I have just started looking for 2-way secutity systems and am open to any brand/model suggestions anyone may have.

And yes I did use the search but, dang, there's a lot of stuff here!  Thanks for any help.

The Viper 791XV will do pretty much all of what you want, with 2 additions. You'll have to purchase a 2nd remote separately, and also a 530T window control module. I've never seen any alarm with window control built into the brain.
Also, the Audiovox APS-996C might be worth considering as it comes with 2 remotes already; however only one of those remotes is a 2-way LCD, the other one is just a 4-button regular remote.
