i just bought a 96 suburban that already has an avital 3300 on it. I've downloaded the user manual for it and have figured out alot of stuff about it but i can't figure out how to make the lights flash and the horn to chirp when i arm or disarm it.

can someone help me with this?

thanks

you will have to look at the alarm diagram and find the wires that correspond to the items that you are talking about. once you find the wire info look under the dash and see if you can find the wires coming from the alarm and trace them to see where they are hooked up to. they may not even be hooked up. once you do that we will be able to help you...

as far as i can tell the white wire is hooked up to the parking lights.

the one thing i cant understand is it wont "chirp" when i arm or disarm it. i know the siren is hooked up cause i can make it sound off with the panic button.

i tried to program it but it wont give me the one chirp to acknowledge the menu that im in.
