How do you folks remove extra wires that you don’t need from the harness?

I dont.  Zip -ie the ones i dont use out of the way and together, clip off the end of the small zip.  Sometimes i do other things, depends on alot of things.

-i see one installer did that and it was weird to see its missin cause when you go back to add something, the wire is gone. thats what happen to my buddy's viper 550esp.
-i just clip it down to a short length.

you can always press the retainer down and remove them.....that way you can reuse them later on....but you wont have a ton of wires that are not being used.....
