I'm getting ready to install a DEI 369D remote start/keyless entry on my 1996 Accord LX.  I've installed several stero systems in the past but this will be my first try at a remote start.  I've read the manual that came with the system and pulled my cars diagram from the site but still have a few questions.

1. Do I need to use the 451M that shipped with the unit?  Or just cut the 3 pin connector off and wire the Green to lock and blue to unlock?

2. Where can I find the neutral safety wire?

Thanks in advance for all the help!

yes, use the 451m because it will give you more power for the door locks, and as far as neutral safety wire if it is an automatic, you do not need to worry about it.

Thanks for the reply.  If I don't hook up the neutral safety swith where do i put the toggle switch?  The manual says to put it inline with the neutral safety wire.

Thanks

the way the alarm works is when it sees a ground on the neutral safety swith it will let the car start, and when it has no ground it will not let it start.  so if you never plan to temporairily desable your RS just ground that wire and the remote start will always work, but if you want to have the option of disabling it temporarily, then inline the toggle swith in the wire and again ground it, that way you can break the ground by toggling the swith off and on.
