Hi, I'm trying to decide if installing a car starter/alarm myself  is possible.  I have the basics and I'm looking for any technical help and/or good sources of general info leading me in the right direction.  Any info would greatly help. 2003 dodge sx2.0

Thanks in advance!

It's not impossible to do and if you have a good understanding of the ignition system of the car, it shouldn't be a problem. Most instructions now a days are very good and if you can solder wires and read a wiring diagram, there isn't anything you can't do. Make sure that where ever you buy the remote starter/alarm system from, they will give you technical support as well as give you everything you need for the installation. Nothing worse than getting into the middle of an installation and finding out that you need a relay or something else that the shop/company should have given you but didn't.
