Hi,

i'm a new member and i have recently installed a Viper 791 XV car alarm on my 97' mitsubishi eclipse. The viper alarm totally kicks @ss!!! Everything is perfect, but i am running into these 2 problems:

1-  OEM factory alarm on the 97 eclipse needs to be disabled. I can't seem to locate the disable OEM alarm wire.

2- With the Viper 791 XV Power door locks unlock but do not LOCK.

3- *not really a problem, but when the remote (791 XV) starts the car... is the car suppose to blink it's parking lights during the remote start run?

Please if anyone can be of help, it is much appreciated.

Thanks,

dsmevoeclipse

and the 791 has a feature built in it to either keep lights steady or blink. comes from factory set to blink.

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.
