Hi. I was just going to install my alarm/starter and ran into a little problem. I have experience in installation, but need some verification to a couple of things in my specific model.

I am unsure as what to do with the 2nd and 3rd ignition.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!  1997 Pontiac Sunfire alarm/remote start -- posted image.

o.k on a 1997 sunfire you have a second ignition only, you don't need the 2nd acc. which is the brown.
12 volts-red
ignition-pink
acc-orange
second ign.-white
starter-yellow
parklights-brown
brake-white
tach-white
door trigger you need to diode isolate the drivers from the passenger-tan and GREEN/ black
passlock 1 connections: providing you are using a dei part# 555l
red-12 volts
pink- ignition
yellow-key side
yellow/black-car side
black-data ground
purple-(-)negative start input
BLACK/ white- bulb check
if all of these wires aren't used you will have a car that cranks then dies. use all of them and make sure you solder all of the connections!

Ignition #2 ORANGE IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS (HEAT/AC)
Ignition #3 WHITE IGNITION SW. HARNESS (PCM & CLUSTER)*
* WHITE Wire Powers Powertrain Control Module (PCM) & Instrument Cluster
if you dont power them up, the tranny may not shift right and/or other things will not work....
Good Luck

You tell us, you have the vehicle in your hands right now. Check the ignition harness for these wires and tell us what unit your installing. Most systems have a (-) 2nd IGN lead wire that you need to use a relay to convert the signal while other's have a (+) 2nd IGN wire designated to be hooked up directly to the wire. Let us know what system you have.
