I have a galaxy 5000rs alarm/remote start that im trying to install, everything works but just cant get the door locks to work i have a pink green wire and a pink yellow wire at the door switch along with a black white wire that has a 12 volt constant voltage.  My problem is i have no idea how to wire this up is this a positive system or negative system or is it reverse?  i have so far tryed to hook up the 12 volt constant wire to the red wire and the lock and unlock wires to there corisponding wires.   I tried it positive and neg but it still will not lock or unlock the doors is there something that i am missing here?  Has anyone had expierance with this combonation any help would be welcome Im out of ideas here.

Thanks for the reply! PLEASE bare with me. This is my problem I just don't quite understand it. This is what I have on my alarm system (violet)Positive door input,(green)negative door input and on the door plug harness I have (blue) negative unlock output, (red)+ 500mA trigger output for optional plug-in door lock relay module, and (green)negative lock output.

So do I just connect the pink/lt green to negative lock output and pink / YELLOW to negative unlock output?                 Do I need a relay?                                                                                                                                                       Oh and I dont have oem keyless on the truck. If you could just explain to me what wires to hook up to what wires I would greatly appreciate it!  And Thanks for all the help!

Does the truck have OEM keyless or not ? Also, you have to get the wires on the driverside of the truck. I've had many experiences where I would grab the wires at the passengerside and blow fuses. When going to the driverside, it works everytime. Post your answer on the keyless issue.

Thanks again and the answer is no I do not have keyless entry. I do have the wires at the drivers side, do I have to cut the pink/lt green and the pink / YELLOW? and if so what wires do I have to connect to them. Thanks again for taking the time to help out guy in need with barely any hair left....lol

yeah cut those wires and wire them like this: two relays
for lock:
85-alarm lock (-)
86-12 volt constant (+)
87-12 volt constant (+)
30-motor side
87a-switch side
for unlock: same thing.
