I am about to install a DEI 562T in a 2003 Altima SE 6cyl.  automatic.  If anyone has ANY tricks, shortcuts or suggestions that would be great.  I have done much research on this site and others and have a few un-answered questions.

1)   What is connected to Module H1/1 wire?  Doesn't this RS have a kill switch built in or am I getting this confused with anit-grind?  If not included should I add this relay?

2)   Need help with the Factory door arm/disarm and door lock control.  Looks like I have 5 wires from RS that may be used for this:

H1/6           Second Unlock output

H2/2           Factory Rearm

H2/4           Factory Disarm

H4/1           - Lock  +Unlock

H4/3          -Unlock   + Lock

The wiring diagram I have says to use drivers door key cylinder pink/blue and WHITE/ blue for arming and locks.  Which of the above RS outputs should be used?   I have also seen a number of comments on this and other forums that BCM blank pins 13 and 14 can be used.  Does any body have experience with either or both methods that can answer these questions and maybe even explain the pros and cons of each?  Also, do I lose the abilty to only unlock the drivers door with one press of the remote button?

3)         I am going to use a 40 amp relay for the second starter wire.   It appears to me I can either control the relay from +purple satellite module or I can use the -purple 200mA  RS auxiliary output.  What is the standard method or advantages of each?

4)          The install manual diagram shows the H1/10 brown  horn output as a -200mA output.  But the manual only indicates a relay is necessary for +horn circuit.  Is a relay required to use this for a -horn pulse?

5)         Where is a good connection for output H3/5 Neutral Safety Switch.  I'm installing in automatic but without the safety switch wouldn't be possible for  RS with gear selector in other than park or neutral?

Thanks for your help!

1) H1/1 Orange armed output is used for hooking up a starter kill relay (or something similar that needs to know when the alarm is armed). The 562T is not a security system, so I doubt it has starter kill by default, although it probably does have anti-grind. (Same thing, really-- just a matter of when the starter wire is interrupted...)
2) the -lock and -unlock wires. Not me. Probably...
3) I would rather use the -200mA output-- I don't like putting any load on starter wires I don't have to since I saw someone kill a '98 Accord by using a 3 wire starter kill.
4) Probably not. To be sure, take a very low amp fuse and jump your horn wire to ground. If the fuse blows, use a relay.
5) Can you start the car if it's not in park or neutral? Wire H3/5 through an on/off switch to ground. Then you can turn off the remote start capability anytime you want (for instance, when being serviced). Before you finish, try putting the car in gear and see if it'll remote start.

be a little more specific? To pass what?

1 wire, 2 wires, a thousand wires

most likely there is a kind outline on the plastic on the firewall of where the clutch should be next to the brake(assuming it is automatic) remove that plastic outline and sorry to say......drill a hole through there.

Have fun

Testing is the key

Thanks for the reply.  I found a grommet that came out behind the inner fender well which worked just fine.

Green to Key side of cut RED / Black starter wire

Both Red wires connected to Green wire from ignition

Orange connected to Red wire from ingnition

Pink/White connected to WHITE/ Blue wire from ignition

Pink connected to uncut BLACK/ Red from ignition.

8617 Relay Brown connected to BLACK / YELLOW from ignition

8617 Relay Yellow connected to Green wire from ignition (constant +12v)

8617 Relay Red connected to Green wire from ignition (constant +12v)

8617 Relay Black connected to Purple (-) 200mA Remote start Aulillory 4 pin harness

Shutdown diagnostics shows six flashes (+/-) Shutdown

The Tach has been learned and indicates a solid status light.  A dmm on the tach lead shows approx 2VAC on the tach input at RS

Please Help!!

Yes the Immobilizer bypass is installed.  I don't think the bypass is the  problem because putting the key in the ignition should allow start if it was.

The Factory alarm disarm GREEN/ black H2/2 and blue (-) unlock H4/3 from RS were connected to (WHITE/ blue) in the door
