THanks for the information.

I don't suppose that you have any installation instructions?

Thanks again.

I'm actually in the middle of an install on a 1998.  Connections went pretty smooth.  I started with power connections, then safety cutouts, and then the locks and lights.  The only mix up I made was with the + and - parking light wires.  Keyless entry is working great but I can't get the Remote Start to do anything.  Do you know if the 626 needs an interface module to bypass a transponder?  The salesman told the guy I'm doing this for that he didn't need one but I thought it did.  That would make sense why the system is not doing anything.

Thanks for the info.  That didn't work either so I guess I'll have to keep checking wires.  The other funny thing I found was that the hood switch has >1 ohm difference between open and closed.  Does that make sense cause it doesn't sound like enough to me.  Usually switches should have an open reading in one of the positions.

Nada.  I get absolutely nothing.  With key in the ignition and the hood switch disconnected nothing happens.  Not even a sound that it is attempting anything.  I have double checked the wiring and can find nothing wrong.  A bit frustrating.  Ugh.
