Hi,

On the siren box that came with the viper 771 alarm it shows how to delete the siren tones you don't want. The thing is is very hard to understand on how you can delete the tones you don't want. It looks like all you have to do is cut some wires and it deletes the tones. It has like one wire for each of the seven tones  and just cut the wire for the tone you don't want.

could it be insode of the siren? If so how do I get in?

Does anyone know how to do this ? Any help would be great!

Look inside the siren's cone. There will be 2 screws, take them out. Then carefully slide the center out, make sure the wires are coming out with it and you may have to remove the plug near the wires. Then on the back of the center section there will be a circuit board, that is where you cut the resistors/diodes to delete chirps and tones.

Insted of just cutting the resistors for deleting tones, I replace a group of 6 dipswitches. It is convenient to change again for future.
