I have a 91 nissna maxima and when i bought the car it had this alarm already in it, it is a Sansone. The problem is that it never worked right I couldnt disarm it from outside of the car. I had to unlock the car sit in it and point the remote at the steering wheel it would make a noise and my car would start. It was like a kill switch rather then a alarm. Now the other day it totally stop working. It would make the noise but the car wouldnt start. I was told to take the alarm out and maybe it would work. Now the alarm was only hooked up to 6 wires the other ones where taped off. Now there are 2 thick wires on black with a green stripe and a black with a yellow stripe. I was told that these are the starter motor and the starter ignition switch. I am confused with all of this I just need my car running what can I do to get passed this ghetto alarm and get the car running. Is there a way to bypass this wanna be kill switch. Help here please

I just got that info off this site but my question is that i hooked it all back up but it still wont start. Is it possible that the alarm killed my starter is there a way to get this car running again? I dont need a alarm now and I think the old one never disarmed and i guess thats why now my car wont start.

If you don't need the alarm system anymore, take out the system and make sure that you re-connect the starter wire as I'm sure it was disconnected for the starter disable circuit.
