I'm installing an alarm on a 97 jeep cherokee. i am having problems installing the door locks. can anyone please give me more info about how to install it? i need to know what type of door lock system it is. also, where i can find the wires and their color. one last thing. how can i test them? please give me any information you may have. thank you.

Power LockD\ ORANGE / VIOLETP\ BLACK/ WHITE *****
Power UnlockR/ PINK/BLACKS/ PINK/BLACK
***** This Car Uses A Data Link Circuit For Power Door Locks. Wires At Switch In Driver Door Will Operate Driver Door Only, Wires At Switch In Passenger Door Will Operate All Other Doors. Wires Must Be Accessed At Switches In Each Door And Wired As Reversal Rest At Ground Door Locks.

Like the configuration above, the switch, when moved in either direction, applies both power and ground directly to motor legs  without the use of any relays. Except, at the switch in this case, both motor legs rest at ground . Therefore it is only necessary to change the polarity of one motor leg to lock or unlock the vehicle.
