Hey guys, I have a clifford concept 200, similar to the Intelliguard 7000 series. I have the antenna ran up the window a-pillar, and I had great transmitter range. But since I put in the intellistart, it seems that my transmitter range weakened. My car is a 92 Honda Civic with an 5speed, so I wired the intellistart as a manual, and there are many hassle things I need  to do, like pressing a few buttons before i shutdown the car to enable my car to use the remote autostart function, but I have been planning to wire it to auto transmission mode because its a lot easier for me to use, and I always park with e-brake up and besides im the only one that drives the car. I understand that this safely allows me to remote autostart my car since my car is an manual, but it just a hassle. Do you guys think, the Intellistart somehow interfered with the reception? I also tried using the second transmitter and the distance is pretty much the same. One more problem I have is that, sometimes I put the car in autostart mode by transmitting to channel 11 with the master remote, right before exit the car. (When transmitted to channel 11 the engine will continue to idle until I armed the car. ) So when I have transmitted to channel 11, I exit my car and engine is still running, and i tried to arm my car with the same master remote and I'm not able to arm the car or do anything else, but I was able arm it  by using the other remote. I don't know whats going on, does anyone know? Is it the manual transmission mode from the intellistart, thats causing all these problems? Let me repeat, I used the master remote to transmit to channel 11 that allows me to use the autostart function, after I exit the car, and tried to arm it with same remote, which supposes to shut down the engine, It won't respond to the remote at all like it wasn't program to the brain(unit)But when i use the other remote to arm, it works!!! and the master remote will work again to autostart or disarm the car. This problem happens only once awhile but not always. I'm about to just ground the wire from the intellistart unit that puts it into auto transmission mode to see what happens. But I will appreciated if anyone have a clue on whats going on. thanks
