Sorry guys, I realise this unit is a bit useless however I have installed it now so its a bit late.  I have searched the other Mannix threads but havent found anything relating to my issue.

Mannix SM700 has been fitted to a manual instant start diesel.  The brain has been set to auto and the neutral safety switched earthed (this is done to bypass all the manual vehicle starting proceedure - once the unit is functioning I will return it to manual settings for safety resons).  The Tach learning stage completes successfully indicating that the tach sensor is functioning correctly however the IG Lock function does not work indicating the opposite.  All basic functions seem to work correctly however the Turbo timer does not function and the vehicle immediately switches off if the key is removed (remote setting is correct).  When Remote Start is activated the pager responds correctly and the starter motor kicks over but the engine doesnt catch (brand new vehicle - starts instantly normally) - any suggestions??

Finally, the siren has four input cables (red black blue white) red connects to the brain to trigger the alarm, black goes to earth but the manual has no reference regarding the remaining two.  No I presume these should be connected to a 12V feed to supply power to the siren however I wasnt 100% certain and dont want to fry the unit (though the way it is acting at the moment that is kind of tempting)  At present I get a small sound when the remote triggers something but no alarm, alarm was heard initially when I installed but died out - presumably due to the internal battery flattening.

Anyways, all help appreciated,

Thanks in advance

Peter
