This is a universal bypass correct?  Are you putting a key in the bypass box?

I also am assuming the unit uses a relay.  So... when you try to remote start, does the box 'click'?

Does the car start fine if you put a key in the ignition?

Is this an extra key?  Is it programmed into the car?

Try the putting one of the original keys in the box and see if it works then.

if i put the key in the on position and use the auto start the car will start when i use it with the immobilizer the system acts like it will start but doesn't. It is an original key the instructions say another way to hook up but i dont know if i have a factory transponder ring

DEI 555U has three wires.  Red (12 Volts), Blue (Status Out [-]), and White (optional hookup to factory wiring).  Connect the Red wire to 12 volts and Connect the Blue to the Status out from the Remote Starter.  Install the Ring on the Ignition switch.   Check if the 555U click or not when you tried to remote start.  If the vehicle tries to start and die.  Tried you insert another key to the ignition and see if it starts normal.  If the vehicle dies then you have the wrong tech wire.  Usually, if you have the wrong tech wire the vehicle will start and die, too.   Good luck

Do you have the BLACK / YELLOW hooked up as ingition wire?  Does it power up when you remote start AND during cranking?

Unplug everything from the 555U.  Stick a working key in the ignition, but leave it in the Off position.  Attempt to remote start the car...does it work?  If it does, your remote start is hooked up correctly---your transponder interface isn't working---and that's where you'll have to start fixing things.

If it still doesn't remote start, even with a key sitting in the ignition, you have other troubles.

Next, insert the good key in the ignition, but this time move the key to Run.  Now, try to remote start....does it work this time?  If so, then you've probably missed one of your ignition wires--go back and check that.
