1998 honda CRv, APS996A or Viper 791vx?

I have a 1998 honda Crv and I want to get a Audiovox APS996A Remote start alarm system or a Viper 791vx. I want to know which one is betterthe audiovox APS996A or Viper 791VX, because i heard that the viper makes the starter go out quicker than the audiovox I want to know if its easy for me (a person who has no knowledge, but has a wire diagram)to install I want to know if i need any extra items in order to complete the installation Norris04
