I was wondering if anyone happens to know what wire off of an Astroflex 2100 is the alarm disarm wire and if it is a programable output, what i need to do to program it.  I am working on a car for a dealership we do many jobs for and they had a customer come in with an 02 Explorer complaining that sometimes the unlock doesnt work, but if the vehicle is started it does work.  It is obviously the GEM module falling asleep, and whoever installed this initially  didn't know or think to wake this module up on the unlock.  I know this sounds like a dumb question, but we deal mainly with Autopage and Viper, so i cannot find any information for this unit at all.

Thanks for any help,

Ben

With what you are describing, astroflex says to send a NEG(-) pulse to anyone of the buttons on the keypad on the door. (If the vehicle has factory security ONLY)  On the connectoer labeledP2 use the brown wire (pin 13) it is a negative "pulse before" unlock or start! you dont need a relay. Let me know if I can help ya anymore
