the wiring diagram i got here is wrong, it says 99-03 but it should be 99-02. the 04 wiring diagram is correct.
but, here is my problem, it says:
Power Lock blue   -   driver kick, 18 pin plug
Notes: Meter the wire while turning the key in the driver door key cylinder.
Power Unlock green (double pulse)   -   driver kick, 18 pin plug
it doesn't say (-) or (+)
the only 18pin connector I found didn't have a green or blue. and couldn't get a good reading on the pins that were green with a stripe and blue with a stripe.
has anyone done an alarm on a 2003-2004 runner? plz. thanks in advance folks.

Try blue/white for lock in pin #4, and blue/orange for unlock in pin #5 with a double pulse

great thanks for the quick reply, this is the blue connector below the small yellow connector. also can i jus run it from the (-)250Ma output from the alarm (assuming this is the trigger for the relay) or do I use my relay pack? thanks.

If you have a relay pack, use it, but in most cases the 250mA is good enough.
