i have a 2004 gmc sierra that i have transfer a prostart 3300 system to. i have the remote start and alarm working great but the door lock system is giving me serious problems. i have the GMDL-BP bypass and interface module with this. now from the gmdl-bp module i have connected the green lock wire to the lt.blue wire in the lt.blue plug in the bcm. i have also connected the blue unlock wire from the gmdl-bp module to the white unlock wire on the same lt.blue plug on the bcm. from the remote start module has a green-positive unlock negative lock wire and a blue- positive lock negative unlock wire. i have connected the blue wire to the gray wire in the drivers kick panel and the green to the tan wire in the drivers kick panel. now on the remote start module there is a violet wire (door trigger positive input ) and a green ( negative input ). I believe i need to connect the green wire to the negative door pin wire but have no idea where to locate it. also since there are 2 tan and 2 gray lock and unlock wires with having 2 doors... do i need to connect each set up to the blue and green wires off the remote start module? if anyone can help i really need it. if there is an easier step by step way to make the a piece of cake i would really appreciate it. thanks

If you are using a GMDL-BP............You DO NOT have to hook any wires to the Door Lock / Unlock wires at BCM...........
Your Door Lock / Unlock wires from your Alarm go to the GMDL-BP only..........

The GMDL-BP is a Multi Door Lock w ByPass Combo unit

ok, i have connected the positive lock wire from the remote start to the lock wire of the gmdl-bp module... same with the unlock. what about the green negative door trigger wire from the remote start module... what does that connect to? after all of that should i reprogram the gmdl-bp module and also do i need to program the new aftermarket remotes to the vehicle or will it automatically recognize it?

You have to have a NEGATIVE Pulse for the Door Locks to the GMDL-BP

BROWN = NEGATIVE OUT when Running

GREEN = Negative LOCK Input
BLUE = Negative UNLOCK Input
VIOLET = DATA Output to ODBII
PINK / White = Door TRIGGER Output
PINK = DOME Light Input
RED = CONSTANT 12 Volts ( + )
BLACK = GROUND

These are the wires I use ...................

U will have to Reprogram after ALLL of your connections are made

i have a negative door trigger output from the gmdl-bp connected to both door triggers.... but the negative input from the remote start module... i have no clue what that hooks up to and i cant find anywhere online what wire that is suppose to connect to. all of the wires from the gmdl-bp module are connected and all but the green negative input and violet positive input wires are connected from the remote start so it has to be the green negative wire from the remote start module that connects to something because its not a positive system

your saying i need a negative pulse for the door locks so let me make sure i have those connections correct. the blue ( positive lock pulse negative unlock pulse ) from the remote start will connect with the unlock wire of the gmdl-bp because it needs that negative pulse. same will go for the lock wire... it will need to be connected to the green wire from the remote start module because it gives out a negative lock pulse.

YEP.........& NOT to your BCM
The GMDL-BP sends a DATA Pulse to your BCM
That is as long as U have the VIOLET wire connected to your ODBII and the GMDL-BP is programmed & functioning......

well i got them to work sort of. when i hit lock it locks but when i hit unlock it takes me pressing it 3 seperate times to finally unlock. i belive i just need to reprogram the whole system starting out at setting it to a type 4. hopefully that will make it to were when i hit the unlock or lock button it will react right away.

ok i have reprogrammed the whole system and it still takes the same. when i press the lock key they lock right away but when i press the unlock button they don't... it usually take a couple of pushes and they have to be seperated by about 15secs. is there a way i can fix that. i was thinking maybe about the options in the mode part when programming. would mode 1 option 2... the one pulse unlock all doors be the right thing to choose?
