Clifford RSX 3.5 problem

yea.. well i installed my RSX 3.5 yesterday..

i found that.. even with car armed.. i can still start the car.. is that normal?

i don't want that to happen..

am i missing something??

did you hook up the starter wire correct? on the relay pack. purple goes to the starter and the green goes to the igntion side.

yea i got that right..

the car starts with the remote right..

but when it's off and the car is armed.. and i still can start the car witht he key..

then you didnt hook up the starter immobilizer correctly... when you CUT the vehicles starter wire, did you hook the green wire from the 3.5 to the key side and the violet wire to the starter side?   the only other thing could be that you have turned security features "off" in the programming menu... grab a BitWriter and walk thru the programmable features to see if security (the starter kill feature) is turned off.....

his clifford dotn have that feature to turn the security off that is only on units with keyless entry version no alarm.

beg your pardon?? i have installed dozens of 3.5's... they ALL have the ability to program security on or off.....

Please tell me what section is that feature, i look though dozed of tiems i dont see it.
