I have a 98 explorer with either an upgraded stock or aftermarket alarm w/ remote start. Problem is I don't know what alarm it is...but I know it's probably a cheap one.
The remote itself is FCC ID : ELVMT6A and looks like this:

Here's my problem:
This weekend I disconnected the battery to do some work, and now when I hook everything back up, the alarm itself semi-works. The buttons lock/unlock the doors and remote start works, but it makes no sound and the doors don't lock on the inside when you hit the brakes (it did before), and the LED inside is always on while driving.
I looked for a reset button, but couldn't find one.
Is there a way I can find out what kind of alarm this is, and get specs on it, etc? I found the horn in the engine bay, but can't seem to find the alarm box itself...I followed the 12 volt yellow cable from the battery to the firewall and inside the truck but it splits after that, and I don't know what I'm looking at at that point.
Please help or maybe point me to a forum that would possibly know...thanks!

Thank you thank you thank you.

Using that site I was able to at least pinpoint it down to it really be a Carbine system, which led me to Magnadyne's site.  Looking at the "discontinued products" pages I found my alarm and user's manual.

Again, very grateful.  A+++ would reply again!
