I have a ProStart CT-3300 installed in my luxury 92 Tempo. My remote got soaked and stopped working so I have purchased a replacement remote and I am trying to program it. My problem is that there is no Hood Pin and the instructions all begin with flashing the hood pin. How can I program the remote without a hood pin?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Ground the hoodpin grey wire. There is a Programming Assistance Button, which act like a hood pin that you can used. It's located on the side of the module.
Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it.Program starter remote with no Hood Pin? -- posted image.
