I just installed an audiovox remote start/alarm on an 03 Honda pilot.......I am having trouble with the key bypass module.....for some reason I can only get the remote start to work either w/ the key in the ign...or holding it right up to the ign...slot.

I tried a key rap, and an audiovox AS-TCBM.......

Any help would be appreciated....

Thanks mike

It may be the position of the wire coil you have installed at the ignition switch. Your wire coil needs at least 3 or 4 loops and needs to be right at the plastic ring around the front of the ignition cylinder. Make sure that your interface or relay to introduce the key to the vehicle is also being powered up correctly. They usually are activated by ignition or battery power and by the remote starter's ground out when running. Also check the wire loop for continuity.
