My Jeep Wrangler 1997 4.0l Sahara starts, but stops after 2 seconds. It is european model (Germany). There is Rockwell radio box and transponder in keychain. This system in broken. I change batteries in transponder and jeep. There is no beep any more.

What I need to bypass this antitheft system?

My Jeep is only used in offroad and this system stop my vehicle in the forest. I accept any kind system. I need to use my Jeep.

I found something interesting. I don't know if that is true. Old posts.
Is there anyone who can say more about this. I can't find anything else about this "kit".
"The theft system which were installed for Germany and some other European countries was an factory installed system from the supplier Rockwell (an oval transmitter with to buttons). Rockwell doesn’t produce this parts anymore. Mopar has developed an Transponder Kit for replacing the original Rockwell system. This transponder kit works not so as the Rockwell system with over an radio frequency, you have to hold a transponder ( it has any electrical contacts) on a transponder area in the car and the theft system will be disarmed. The Rockwell Module must be dismantle and the new transponder kit have to installed to the diagnostic connector cables. Also must be installed a new software for programming this to the car. The software is called “ RKE- inoperative “ and all DC-dealer should be have them."
"the transponder kit has the partnumber 05015504AB and for the same kit give it an other number 05015504AA. Both of them are not available in any DC-store in the US. 05015504AB is in the moment not available in Germany, perhaps in 3-4 weeks. 05015504AA is available in Germany, more than 100 pieces. The bad on this is that the price from the ...AA part is higher then from ...AB.
05015504AA = approx. 480,-€
05015504AB = approx. 110.-€
The good thing is when the dealer reclaim it by DC-Germany he get the difference between the two kits back.
The TSB-number is I08-801-00 Rev.A"
