Just installed a DEI 555g bypass module with bulldog remote starter. Everything works fine except the pass key light stays on, in the i dash panel, when it is started with the remote Does anyone  know how to resolve this problem?

sorry I can't help you with your problem, but I was wondering which bulldog starter you hooked up?
And what connection did you use for the "Remote start input"?
thanks

Used a Bulldog (Car and Driver ) RS1100P. Used a t harness to hook into the wireing harness of the vehicle. I used solder on the rest of the connections.

Hi,
Sorry I wasn't clear I meant which connector/wire on the starter did you use for "Remote start input" on the 555G.
Thanks
Dave

I solved the problem. I was using the white wire from the remote starter which is - output (that is supposed to be for the bypass module) to the blue on the 555g. This was not triggering the ground at the right time. While troubleshooting I grounded the blue wire, before starting with the remote, and it worked fine. I looked at the schematic and found another wire for a security that sends out a -pulse when the started by the remote. I hooked it (red with black) and the white wire to the blue of the 555g and it works fine.
