My truck is a 88 dakota, and one of the pinswitches does not work and the interior light does not come on when that door is opened. I want to completely redo everything along with an inline fuse. Say both of the doors open and there is 2 ways for the current to get to the interior light, wouldnt it melt the wiring and trip the fuse off? Can someone draw me a schematic of doing something like this?

Why not replace the PIN Switch if that is the problem?
What are you wanting to do?
Have another switch to turn on your Dome lights or just have 1 PIN switch do that?
