will keep it brief...A buddy has a 98 taurus...the locks will cycle quite a bit...meaning they lock/un-lock repeatedly while driving,running...i believe it has to do w/ his ignition??? Any-way planning on by-passing by adding new actuators (the ones in there have taken alot of abuse) and install alarm w/ key-less...plan on doing 22nd of this month...Thought i would post just in case someone is familiar w/ this problem...and could save me some time on vehicle!

                                                                                    Thanks in advance

double check the ground on the alarm or starter if it not a solid connection to metal it will do that as well double check the solder on the ignition wire if it is not a good connection and has ignition controlled door locks that will hapen as well

hope this helps

Does he have aftermarket keyless entry in there now?
If he bought the car used, have you peeked up under the dash to look for an aftermarket system he doesn't know about? Sometimes when you buy a car used, there's an alarm in there, but the remotes have been lost.

ive had a subaru factory keyless module go nuts and cycle the door locks before....it actually locked the woman in her car....(too stupid to manually unlock the door to get herself out, she actually called crying).....not saying that your problem is there but just wanted to share...oh yeah new factory keyless mod cured the problem.

oh and on my prelude when i first hooked up my matrix 2.5 alarm my aftermarket actuators would cycle with the windshield wipers.......dont laugh........cured that by GROUNDING the module properly(pet monkey)........98 taurus locks -- posted image.
