i just installed keyless entry on my car bmw 316i compact 1997 from germany and it was successful. Now what i want is   when i press the unlock button on remote i want the dome light to open and when i press the lock button i want the dome light to off   Is it possible?   apprecaite any help.   tanx........

Your alarm should have a domelight output wire. Use a relay to power the domelight wire.
This turns on domelight when you press unlock for 30secs
Note: You Always Dont Get What You Pay For.

is there any possible solution if i my alarm had no domelight output wire?

You can have your unlock wire turn on a relay to turn on your domelight, but once you open a door, it turns off the relay.
Downside, if you press unlock and you dont walk to your car the domelight will stay on.
But then you can configure it so that your lock output makes sure the relay turns off.
I have never even done this, so i am not 100% sure it will even work, but its a thought to consider.
Note: You Always Dont Get What You Pay For.
