I've installed one of these alarms in my 89 a few years ago but I had some problems and now I have a new one and want to install it in this Mustang.  I've looked over and printed the wiring diagram and since my car does have factory keyless entry it looks like I have negative pulse locks.  The problem I'm seeing is that on the installation manual it says that in order for me to use the two stage unlock I have to connect wires to the switches and the motors.  I can't find any information for what the wires are on the lock motors.  I bought this car used and someone had installed a starter kill switch that is a little black key of some kind.  It has an LED also, I was think I should be able to follow the wires and remove the entire thing from the system and just tie the new alarm in.  Also, with my keyless entry the car had trunk release and according to the installation manual it says I will need an additional relay because the trunk release is positive.  How would I wire this relay in?  Thanks in advance.

OK, so maybe this wasn't worded so that the question was clear. Based on the installation guide for my alarm if I want to retain the ability to press the unlock 1 time to unlock just the driver's side door and to unlock the passenger side door I have to press it 2 times then I need to tie some additional wires from the alarm to the unlock wires on the motor. I've searched all over the net and can't seem to find anything that will tell me which wire is the unlock wire on the motor. I'd like to finish the install today after work.

Thanks, I was able to get the 2 stage unlock working however now I have another question. The alarm comes with a hood switch but I'd also like to try to monitor the trunk at the same time. I know I have to tie into the trunk light but can I just tap straight into the wire coming from the hood switch?
Also, the alarm says that it comes defaulted to normally closed starter kill but can be changed to normally open. How do I know if the car should be using a normally open or closed starter kill?
