I haven't worked on one of the new GM suv's .... buuuuuuut .... in the past, when I could not find the specified VSS wire, I've used the wiring from one of the front wheels' ABS sensors. I've done this plenty of times. It did not work twice - on an OLD Mercedes and a Caravan of some type. I forget the vehilce specifics for the no-go's. All others have worked fine, including many many H2's (similar?)

Try looking for a 24 pin plug under the hood above the driver's wheel well. The dark GREEN / WHITE will be in cavity B6. It may not be at the radio unless you have a factory Nav radio.
