I am installing a Radiostar Generation R/S and alarm combo into my 2002 Sierra. It will start the truck fine, however it will not kill the engine when you step on the brake or open the hood. The hood pin is connected properly and opens and closes properly. The brake wire is connected properly, too. Any ideas besides a faulty brain? My other question is are the power door locks are + or -? Any help with these issues would be appreciated.

If it helps, I guess the R/S unit is also known as a King Eagle, but I cannot find an info on a manufacturer website. Anyway, thanks in advance for any help.

did you verify your wires with a meter?   if you cut the hood wire inside the vehicle and grouind it, does the R/S shut down?  if it does, then you have to adjust your switch and the brain is opereating properly..... if you cut the wire going to the brake and apply 12 volts to it does the R/S shut down?  if yes, then you have the wrong wire at the brake... if not then , you may have a bum brain unit.....
