Have a 2000 Jeep Wrangler & new Autopage -  my problem is that the shock sensor won't work (the door alarms work fine).  Bought a proximety sensor (thinking that the shock sensor was bad), but the prox won't work either.

When I try to install one of these sensors, this is the procedure that I use:  I plug one of the sensors into one of the two available ports, move at least 15ft from the vehicle, wait for the vehicle to settle, set the alarm, wait a couple of minutes, then try to make the sensors trigger.  Re-adjust the sensors, repeat.  Nothing.

I know there is a possibility that the port is bad from the factory, but the chance is small.  Is there a programming procedure or maybe a wiring mistake on the 20-pin MOLEX that could be causing my frustrations?  Thanks.

OK, nobody responded, but I understand why.  I found my problem - the resistor to the accessory ports had no continuity.  I replaced the resistor, and now my shock sensor works wonderfully . . . but now I have a new problem . . .

. . . my radar sensor still doesn't trip the alarm.  When the alarm is set, the red LED stays constant, and the green comes on when motion is detected, but I guess no signal is sent.  From what I've read on the internet, this type of sensor is pretty much universal.  Can anyone give me a little insight on this one?  Thanks ahead of time.

PS  Would a radar sensor give the same waveform signature on an oscilloscope as a shock sensor?
