hello i saw a car with the radar detector in the rear view mirror and was trying to get some info on how to do it ?

Are you talking about the Valentine One's remote module which has the little indicator?

It can be plugged into the main unit, and be remotely placed for the driver. Alot of people place it in the dash, so as it is not a target for *tag along drivers*
