head lights buzzer

hi all

i keep forgetting  head lights on when i shut off the car so i  had old buzzer and its working  i want to connect it  so when the lights on make it buzzing and remind me the lights are on

You can do this with a relay and a diode.  Connect a fused constant to a NO contact terminal (30 or 87) of the relay.  Connect the positive terminal of the diode (anode- side without the stripe) to the parking light positive output wire.  Run a lead from negative side (cathode- the stripe side) to one side of the coil (either terminal 85 or 86).  Run another lead from an ignition wire to the remaining terminal of the coil.  Connect one wire on your buzzer to the unused NO contact terminal of the relay (30 or 87), and ground the other.

Now, when your lights are on and the ignition is off, current flows through the diode to the relay coil, and is grounded through your ignition wire.  This closes the NO contacts and allows power to flow to your buzzer.  The diode prevents the buzzer from going off when your lights are off and ignition is on.

One mod, if you wish, is to ground the buzzer with the door trigger.  Now the buzzer won't go off until you open the door.
