Ok, I put in a white neon as the cabin lights, so it will function just like the foot well cabin light, when the door opens, the neon comes on, and when the door closes the neon shuts off.  Then I wanted the neon to come on after I turned over the key (I have a toggle switch on it to turn it off manually), essentially just like the radio or cigarette lighter.  So I fabbed up a harness just like the one in the picture below.  It works, but the door switch relay works in reverse, i.e. the neon turns off when the door is open, and it turns on when the door is closed.  How do I reverse this?  Also I have a negative door switch, i.e. 1993 Nissan 240SX.Relay Working In Reverse -- posted image.

Do you see on your diagram where it is listed as Switch+? Your door is negative. So you need to change pin 85 to +12V and 86 to switch-. You will also need to change your toggle switch to - as well.

Thanks, that did the trick, for some reason I kept accounting for the negative door switch as a positive door switch.
