I am woring on a misting system that is hooked to a 12 volt irrigation timer. The timer only outputs a single charge for on and off times. Can you use a single charge to open a relay and then another single charge to close a relay. This way the current is flowing during the entire time and my 12volt pump will run the whole time. I would use a second 12volt battery to run the pump.

Yes but I need more details.

Are you trying to turn one relay on and off?

Are you trying to turn a relay on and a second one on or off?

Why do you need a Timer if you want the pump running all the time?

I can help you but I need to understand exactly what you want to do.

Since I am keeping this all on 12 volt or less the timer I am using sends a single pulse of electricity. The timer is for a irrigation solenoid and valve. One charge to open the solenoid and one more to close the solenoid. Well, I want to use a water pump to drive my misting system, but it needs to run continuously through the cycle of the timer. Since this timer does not do that. I was wondering how i can keep the juice flowing to the pump.

I want to be able to set a schedule for my misting system and not have to worry about turning the system on or off during the day.

A diagram would help. So does this timer have a positive and negitive that switches polarity for up and down?

Are you sure that you are seting the timing cycle right?

This looks like a good timer.
