95 GMC Jimmy 4wd.

I bought some foglights for this car, and instead of using the switch i want to hook it up to my headlights so that they turn on when i turn on/off with the switch inside the vehicle. Now i know this:

30 12V fused

85 ground
86 from switch hooked to low beam
87 to fogs

But on 87, i dont know where to connect it to the fogs. I got the 4 wires (+/-) going to the fogs, the other wires to power and ground, and then i have another set of wires which where supposed to go to a swtich. But now they should go to a relay. Can some one tell me where to connect these wires. I just can figure it out. Thanx  in advance.

Instead of hooking this circuit to the Key switch as noted just tie the wire into your headlight circuit.

The key switch is the switch in the car that starts the engine.

You usually find a circuit on the fuse panel that has power when the key is turned on and tie the wire in to that fuse.

For the Headlight circuit you would find a fuse that is on only when the headlights are on and tie into that circuit. Sometimes you will get lucky and find a fuse that sayes Fog Lamps and your car will not have them and you can use that fuse.
