power antenna swap

Newbe here. I picked up a power antenna from a Galant at the pick n pull yard and want to install it in my 1986 4Runner. The harness has 5 wires. A black with 1 silver dot and a black, red, blue, and white all with 2 silver dots. I haven't bought a deck yet but when I do, how do I go about wiring this up?1998 Avalon, 1996 Blazer, 1986 4Runner

I can't be bothered to pull my Galant apart BUT 2 thoughts, Google Mits Galant wiring for the answer, it IS there and that's a flat top, you might need a top conversion for your vehicle.

Positive, all car radios give a pos output for antenna and amp.

Really? I remember some Toyotas used twin triggers at the head unit. But then I haven't done any auto aerials for what 3 years or cut any holes for 6? Built in, sharks fin, on the roof, never get to them any more. I fondly (don't) remember carefully measuring off the hole position (early80s to mid 90s) on W124 Mercedes then using cone cuts to oval it out.

i have a box of Hirschmann power antennas, used of course.  need one for a W124?

I spent much of the late 90s rebuilding the damned things, using bosch timer relays etc. I even found it was cheaper to buy the masts from a Vauxhall dealer (Euro GM) than Hirschmann! I also had an account with Nippon Antenna Co. who were supplying Rolls Royce, ended up selling on to my local dealership because they were paying Rolls Royce inflated amounts for them. One of their units was a ringer for the 6000 series with rubber tops but better! Bit of muck on the telescopic parts and say goodbye Hirschmann.

This news just in, or it was 5 hours ago, got to replace one on a C class tomorrow!
