Hi guys,
I am having an issue with a conversion where fuse 46 (ecu) keeps blowing when the ignition is on.
I have found the mistake in the wiring, and the wire goes directly to the fuse that shouldnt be there so would explain it, but i have a question.
Here is the wiring differences:

Sorry for the crap example!
As you can see on the old wiring, pin 17 goes directly to the relay/fuse, but on the new wiring it doesnt.
I didnt wire in pin 17, just left it hanging, however i noticed it looks like i need to make pin 45 (new wiring) needs to go straight through to pin 23 (x58).
However, X58 is the engine harness... X57 is the body loom. How do I go about wiring from the body loom to the engine loom? I guess il have to just jump a wire accross? Or is there a better way to do it?
Also, could people let me know if my theory is correct? Or if im way off, PLEASE point me in the right direction!
Regards

Old pin 17 was not fused.
New pin 23 is.

So is it a case of making sure pin 23 runs to the F46 fuse?

Yep. (Via K26 as old 17 did.)
I presume 23 adds up to 5A to F33 which old 17 didn't.
Not that I know the functionalities etc - but assuming 23 is the "new" 17, and that 23 can still be high (+12V) thru F46 even if F33 blows (leaving X18 1843 unpowered).
Maybe is better removing/bridging F33 and leave the lot to F36.

Sorry, you can NOT post a reply.
