remote start and bypass module

I am trying to install a remote start and bypass module in my 2002 Chevy Silverado truck. The models are as follows,  Autostart AS-3472TW-FM and bypass module is, Xpresskit DLPKGM.

My question is, the Autostart diagram says to hook up a wire to a certain source, the Xpresskit also states to hook up a wire to the same source. There are numerous wires on each unit that goes to the same thing. Do I hook these wires together at the location that is called for?

Also, I cannot seem to find a wiring diagram that matches this truck. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated because I am just about to lose my mind on this.

Here is a link to Bulldog Security for your trunks wiring:   http://www.bulldogsecurity.com/bdnew/vehiclewiringdiagrams.asp     Bulldog has some good pictures also.  Most of the wires can be found in the steering column ignition harness and the BCM module right underneath the column.  It's actually a pretty easy install.  Just keep the wires neat by the BCM because of the metal knee bolster plate and its rough edges.

There are three wires from the DLPKGM in W2W mode that can be connected to the same sources the remote start requires.  Ground, +12v and Ignition
