Working on a 2003 Jeep Liberty Sport...putting in a Audiovox Prestige APS620N remote starter. Having trouble getting a good tach signal that my box will "learn" when I start the engine.
I've seen the12volt.com's page which indicates the tachometer wire is "NOT grn/or or or/grn" on the "ign coil, coil pac, injector", and another website's diagram that said to use the tan/red wire on ign. coil pac #1...but the tan/red at the coil pac didn't work out for me. Another website says "Blk wire at any injector"...as far as I can see none of the wires going to any of the injectors are black. :( Any other hints out there??
This remote start unit has an option on the "Input Check" where you can select "Tach," "Voltage," or "DBI" (some audiovox proprietary thing that as far as I can tell doesn't work with this vehicle). If I set this "Input Check" option to "Voltage"...does anyone reckon I could hook this wire to any source with 12 volts while the engine is running? Trying to get creative here with very little explanation of the options in the install manual. ;)
Thanks a lot everybody!!

Each injector will have 2 wires. One colour is common to all the injectors. Just use any of the others.
