toyota spacio 1997/toyota noah 2002

Am new here and i can't seem to find a pictorial or wiring installation for wiring remote engine start alarms for Toyota Spacio 1997 and Toyota Noah 1998.

Where is Howie II when you need him? 

The closest thing to the Toyota Spacio is probably the Toyota Corolla.  Download the available wire guide listings for the Corolla

and check to see if they match-up.

The  Toyota Noah is listed as a Asia only market vehicle and the production dates were 2001 on.  Can't find any equivalents for that

vehicle.  Sorry, looks like it's time to put a new battery in your Digital Multi Meter.

If Howie were back he'd say work that meter! Very straight forward, OP, does the vehicle have central locking? Look at steering column looms. Standard will be constant, ACC, ignition and start. With Toyota, ASSUME 2nd ignition. Indicators will be GREEN/ black and GREEN/ YELLOW same loom are these gasoline or diesels? Door triggers probably RED / white with silver dots, check at dome (AKA courtesy or interior) light.

I think the second vehicle is based on the LiteAce. Door front and rear triggers if separate are in a loom going down the right "A" pillar. If central locking present, the control unit should be above the brake pedal, All above NEG switching. Indicators as before, Removing lower dash (2 or 3 screws) will access all the other wiring. A very easy vehicle. Underhood entry via a grommet to driver's side bulkhead. Above info correct if the vehicle is R/H/Drive as Japan, UK.

Thanks Howie for the info, i have really gotten insight on how to go about the Toyota, The Spacio has central locking and the Noah has keyless entry. How easy is it to find a Tach wire, what are the common locations for it?

Diesel or gasoline? If direct injection diesel (unlikely, too early) the injectors same with gasoline or coil if gas and a single coil. Do they have tachometers? Then rear of gauge cluster, 3 wires 12V+ ign, ground (earth) and tach. Shame, I had some file photos of a LiteAce install but I can't find them. BTW from the installers point of view, central locking if multipoint, i.e. controlled by key in either front door and keyless entry are the same. If there's a lock switch in the driver's door with certain exceptions including a people carrier version in the mid 90s* ALL Toyotas use low current NEG triggers. *Nasty feeling that one might have been yours, years since I did it 15+ years ago so I can't remember! I think it was grab the motor wires via 2 relays.

Looking at the injectors, 2 wires going to each, one wire will be the same colour at all the injectors, go for the other wire.

They are both Gasoline, am not sure if they have tachometers just that the oil sensor signal wire from the alarm needs to go to a tachnometer or oil, one that has 1v-6v (AC)

If it says oil sensor throw the unit away, it's garbage and it won't work. Any unit that tells you to use an oil sensor is rubbish, I'm sure Kregg will agree.
