According to the 1997 Chevrolet Malibu Alarm Information the parking light wire is "brown" and is located at "Gray Boot at Firewall" If I'm reading it right, it shows that the wire will have positive voltage when the parking lights are on.
I've checked every brown wire in BOTH firewall boots, and I can't seem to locate the proper wire. (I also checked all BROWN / yellow, BROWN / white, etc) Would it be possible for the info to be wrong?
Has anyone else worked with a 97 Malibu? Can you tell me the correct wire color? Or, am I completely off base and I missed something completely?
